For an easy stroll or drive in the Echuca Heritage Precinct an Audio Poetry Trail is available. Here several poems inspired by our heritage, the natural environment and the atmosphere of this special place can be heard.

On the large Log alongside the walking track behind EM Visitor Information Centre
This poem and the location was chosen to acknowledge the early peoples of the area as it is believed to have been a busy meeting place for the Yorta Yorta peoples.

This site was chosen as the poet is believed to have lived and worked in this area of town

On Campaspe River walkway fence beside Beechworth Bakery.
This poem was especially written in recognition of the early Chinese community, and the location chosen as many of had market gardens along the Campaspe River just south of this site.

Chosen as it overlooks the Murray River, wharf & paddlesteamers creating a congenial atmosphere for this poem.
