We have a huge database ready and waiting.

Search this database for more than family names. You will need to think laterally as some items are listed by the person's first name ie: William Johnes, not Johnes William as expected.

Also remember the name may be entered as it sounds, or spelled with "tt" not one as you expect. You will also find paddlesteamer names, events, places and much more.

There may be a lot of information, or not much at all, however all these names are on our database for some reason.

Our Research Database is available for download in these three sections.

Please note that we are updating our inhouse database regularly, so if your name is not here please ask a researcher.

Researchers please note we have the local newspaper "Riverine Herald" from 1863-1997 on microfilm, and from March 1998-Dec 2001 has been loaded to Trove, August 2005 forward is on disc in house.

Most issues to 1903 have been indexed but as Trove has the paper online to 1954 we are now focusing on 1955 forward which is very time consuming to research, so if you require research please give us plenty of time and try to give us an approximate date. Indexing of 1955 to 1959 completed. This project is ongoing with new indexes added regularly.
